Rony Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Severo in the 26th minute of the match. If Acácio Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Acácio Valle was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. Club Atlético MZ's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Luís Eduardo Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramón Alagoano made a kick off. Ramón Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Rony Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atlético MZ's Rony Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético MZ from getting a goal against them. When Marco Breckenfeld came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Itaubal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Breckenfeld couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Itaubal's Ramón Alagoano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rony Rocha. That made the score 0-1 after 76 minutes of play. Ramiro da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrianinho Alagoano in the 81st minute of the match. If Acácio Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio Valle in the 86th minute of play. Rony Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Alagoano in the 89th minute of play. Ramiro da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrianinho Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. If Acácio Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ramiro da Costa came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético MZ's Zé Paulo Godoi. But to his dismay, Zé Paulo Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.
