EMAD F.C's Vicente Nóbrega shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Stefanos Sioufas but with some difficulty. Pedro Augusto Barral charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Augusto Barral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of LocoPub FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of EMAD F.C:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by César Castro in the 18th minute of play forced EMAD F.C's goalkeeper Donato de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato de Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Castro in the 19th minute of the match. César Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donato de Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Albuquerque in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Prata in the 37th minute of play forced LocoPub FC's goalkeeper Stefanos Sioufas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, one of LocoPub FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tiago Gabriel Paulista shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 43rd minute of the match Tiago Gabriel Paulista sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stefanos Sioufas skillfully saved the ball. In the 44th minute Dedé Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefanos Sioufas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45thth minute of the game César Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EMAD F.C's Donato de Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when César Castro made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of LocoPub FC booed when EMAD F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Gabriel Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that César Castro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donato de Lima was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 56th minute, Ruy Eger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stefanos Sioufas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Stefanos Sioufas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dedé Pombal went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. César Castro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Donato de Lima when he managed to save the team from getting behind. César Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If César Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Edmílson Albuquerque came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the LocoPub FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmílson Albuquerque couldn't finish the play. Edmílson Albuquerque's late challenge caught a EMAD F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edmílson Albuquerque helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Edmílson Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Dedé Pombal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, EMAD F.C's goalkeeper Donato de Lima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by César Castro. Dedé Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefanos Sioufas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruy Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. César Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Donato de Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Amancio Caitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of LocoPub FC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. LocoPub FC may have spent more time on the ball, but EMAD F.C were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
