The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredinho Hoffmann to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Alfredinho Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rony Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jailson Moreira was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. Ibicoara's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 75th minute of the game, when Dé Favoretto after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Club Atlético MZ's goal. Dé Favoretto was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. 82 minutes into the match, Club Atlético MZ's goalkeeper Rony Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Messias. Zé Roberto Chaves hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Messias got free with Rony Rocha in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ibicoara's José Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrianinho Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
