Geovani Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Durvalino de Medeiros in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Umberto Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Alquimista FPA STAND BY defense, Ricardinho Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Umberto Cunha. The Alquimista FPA STAND BY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Umberto Cunha should have stopped the shot. After 44 minutes, Erivaldo Pombal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marionopolis SS and the Alquimista FPA STAND BY players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erivaldo Pombal hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Hudson Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséias Mangueira in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Umberto Cunha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Durvalino de Medeiros did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Umberto Cunha 67 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Durvalino de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marionopolis SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Durvalino de Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Umberto Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardinho Vidal got free with Umberto Cunha in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enéas Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The supporters of Alquimista FPA STAND BY booed when Marionopolis SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Guilherme Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Rui Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute Durvalino de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
