In the 3rd minute José Maria Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mecnun Davarcı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the HARDCORE F.C. defense, José Maria Medeiros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silas Braga. The HARDCORE F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silas Braga should have stopped the shot. José Maria Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Silas Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Maria Medeiros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silas Braga having to make a save. José Maria Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Carlos Fernando da Rocha notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of HARDCORE F.C.'s Silas Braga. Silas Braga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mecnun Davarcı struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Silas Braga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amazonas Futebol Clube. Amazonas Futebol Clube's José Maria Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jean Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Silas Braga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mecnun Davarcı, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Amazonas Futebol Clube's José Maria Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Amazonas Futebol Clube's José Maria Medeiros got a free kick in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Maria Medeiros to strike the kick off in the second half. Silas Braga made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Mecnun Davarcı sent off a good shot on target. Washington Varela recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Amazonas Futebol Clube's zone, Jean Proença stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan de Azevedo came out of the goal and Jean Proença tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Maria Medeiros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Silas Braga came out and tried to block the shot, but José Maria Medeiros slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute, Carlos Fernando da Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute, Cléberson Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th match minute, HARDCORE F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Proença to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Valdo Alves made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan de Azevedo. Amazonas Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Ricardinho Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. HARDCORE F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardinho Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan de Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. HARDCORE F.C.'s Silas Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Cardozo in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Mecnun Davarcı ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silas Braga was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-8. In the 87th minute, HARDCORE F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Carlos Fernando da Rocha fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 96 played minutes HARDCORE F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Washington Varela. When the final whistle sounded Amazonas Futebol Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than HARDCORE F.C..
