Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ricardinho Senna kicked off to start the match. Flávio Alcântara came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by HARDCORE F.C.'s Valdo Alves. But to his dismay, Valdo Alves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 15th minute of the match Acácio Machado sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flávio Alcântara skillfully saved the ball. Silas Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidnei Sanches in the 17th minute of play. When Sidnei Sanches came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Trigolandia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidnei Sanches couldn't finish the play. Ricardinho Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sidnei Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas Braga having to interfere. If Ricardinho Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sidnei Sanches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sidnei Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Silas Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardinho de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sidnei Sanches stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in HARDCORE F.C.'s zone, Chicão Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silas Braga came out of the goal and Chicão Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Trigolandia's Sydney Batista got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flávio Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Valdo Alves sent off a good shot on target. Sidnei Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas Braga having to interfere. In the 66th minute Sidnei Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silas Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdo Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Flávio Alcântara successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Trigolandia's Flávio Alcântara got control of the ball when Valdo Alves tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Sydney Batista fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trigolandia's protests and gave Sydney Batista a yellow card for diving instead. Sydney Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei Sanches in the 82nd minute of play forced HARDCORE F.C.'s goalkeeper Silas Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Trigolandia fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Trigolandia's Bernardinho de Sousa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei Sanches in the 90th minute of play forced HARDCORE F.C.'s goalkeeper Silas Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidnei Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas Braga having to interfere.
