Franklin Pires made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Franklin Pires came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Amazonas Futebol Clube's Faustão Maranhense. But to his dismay, Faustão Maranhense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. If José Maria Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mecnun Davarcı struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Franklin Pires didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amazonas Futebol Clube. When Amazonas Futebol Clube's José Maria Medeiros in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CR Cachaça da Gama's goalie prevented a goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Amazonas Futebol Clube had played much better football throughout.
