Periquito FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Washington Varela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Periquito FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Franklin Galvão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to HARDCORE F.C. getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jean Proença hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, HARDCORE F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kléberson Saraiva came free, but Silas Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in HARDCORE F.C.'s zone, Cleiton Rezende stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silas Braga came out of the goal and Cleiton Rezende tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matheus Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Silas Braga made a huge save. Kléberson Saraiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silas Braga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kléberson Saraiva ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Silas Braga managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Periquito FC's Matheus Cruz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Periquito FC's Kléberson Saraiva in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HARDCORE F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kléberson Saraiva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedrinho Tande was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ricardinho Senna showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 63 minute of play. Periquito FC's Tony Abraão got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Cleiton Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot. Periquito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleiton Rezende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silas Braga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Abraão in the 72nd minute of play forced HARDCORE F.C.'s goalkeeper Silas Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kléberson Saraiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silas Braga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Periquito FC's Kléberson Saraiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silas Braga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Periquito FC's much stronger midfield.
