Spectators: 7047 (Terracing: 5394, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Narciso Abreu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tony de Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Abreu struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Diogo de Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CR Cachaça da Gama. Cacutu's Diogo de Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Abreu in the 10th minute of play. CR Cachaça da Gama's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Albertinho Paes scored to the left of an out of position Franklin Pires, making the score, 1-0. Franklin Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albertinho Paes in the 22nd minute of the match. Cacutu's Albertinho Paes got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Zonta hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The long shot by Cássio Madureira in the 26th minute really tested Franklin Pires's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Cacutu getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Vitório Viana hit a great ball. Albertinho Paes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, CR Cachaça da Gama's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gildo Leme fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cacutu's attack was well implemented in the 42nd minute, but when Albertinho Paes was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 45th minute, Tony de Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tony de Toledo struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Diogo de Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CR Cachaça da Gama. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albertinho Paes to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Tony de Toledo could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Diogo de Sousa however easily saved by the left post. Franklin Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albertinho Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franklin Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertinho Paes in the 68th minute of play. Franklin Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gildo Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the game, Tony de Toledo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Diogo de Sousa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cacutu's Diogo de Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Cacutu from getting a goal against them. After 96 minutes, Albertinho Paes made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. CR Cachaça da Gama's Franklin Pires tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cacutu's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
