Morrinho SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ihla grande the free kick. Dalmo Furlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandinho de Salles having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Ihla grande got a freekick which was hit by Silas Abraão. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan Messias in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristiano Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristiano Medeiros came out of the goal and Bebeto Goiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Morrinho SC's goalkeeper Fernandinho de Salles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Juan Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morrinho SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Messias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Dedé Jacinto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernandinho de Salles. That made the score 0-2 in the 77 minute of play. Cristiano Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frédson Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 89th minute, Ihla grande's Dedé Jacinto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernandinho de Salles. Fernandinho de Salles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 93rd minute, Dedé Jacinto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fernandinho de Salles. The goal made the score 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Dedé Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ihla grande's supporters rose to their feet, but Dedé Jacinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernandinho de Salles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ihla grande's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
