Sidnei Sanches took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diogo de Sousa. Diogo de Sousa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Trigolandia's Flávio Alcântara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Trigolandia from getting a goal against them. If Sidnei Sanches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Trigolandia's zone, Albertinho Paes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flávio Alcântara came out of the goal and Albertinho Paes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Trigolandia's Flávio Alcântara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Trigolandia from getting a goal against them. Albertinho Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flávio Alcântara having to interfere. Flávio Alcântara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gildo Leme in the 98th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Trigolandia had won after a very even match.
