The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Harley FC's goalkeeper Olavo Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aníbal Barros. If Léo do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harley FC's Olavo Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Harley FC from getting a goal against them. If Telmo Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Léo do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Massa charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conrado Massa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Conrado Massa hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Harley FC's Telmo Prado got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Léo do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telmo Prado in the 38th minute of the match. Telmo Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Ferreira having to interfere. Tiago Ferreira came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Harley FC's Léo do Valle. But to his dismay, Léo do Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After the first half Harley FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Aníbal Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Barros in the 56th minute of play forced Harley FC's goalkeeper Olavo Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Duarte Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Arcangelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duarte Cunha couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the match, Duarte Cunha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olavo Santos. Harley FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Duarte Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Telmo Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Ferreira having to interfere. Léo do Valle succeeded in the game's 69th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Tiago Ferreira was a little too slow when Léo do Valle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 79th minute Duarte Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Aníbal Barros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olavo Santos. Harley FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aníbal Barros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Olavo Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Olívio Souto hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Olavo Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Barros in the 95th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the match, Harley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Barros came free, but Olavo Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Harley FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
