In the 18th minute, Alfredo Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emanuel Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristóvão Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Vivaldo Cerezo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Simões in the 33rd minute. After the first half Bode Velho MZ Force were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jaiobazinho's Dedê Guimarães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Jaiobazinho from getting a goal against them. Jaiobazinho's Dedê Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gugu Cardozo in the 60th minute of play. When Armando Toscano fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jaiobazinho's protests and gave Armando Toscano a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jaiobazinho's Armando Toscano got a free kick in the 61st minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
