An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo de Amaral in the 44th minute of play forced Berilo's goalkeeper Alexsandro Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Amílton Arruda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jairo de Amaral who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Alexsandro Passos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jailson Garcia in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joélson Pimenta saved Curituba from getting behind. Enéas Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enéas Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Enéas Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Joélson Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jailson Garcia in the 76th minute of the match. Curituba's Jairo de Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Curituba getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Samuel da Fonseca hit a great ball. If Amílton Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Berilo.
