Amílton Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Osmar Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jailson Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osmar Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílton Arruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Amílton Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osmar Mazza having to interfere. When Raphael Leite came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Guayra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raphael Leite couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Amílton Arruda reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Osmar Mazza. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Berilo's goalkeeper Alexsandro Passos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 47th minute Raphael Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexsandro Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Leite in the 50th minute of play forced Berilo's goalkeeper Alexsandro Passos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juninho Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raphael Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Alexsandro Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Amílton Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Guayra's zone, Amílton Arruda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osmar Mazza came out of the goal and Amílton Arruda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amílton Arruda in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osmar Mazza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amílton Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osmar Mazza having to interfere. Gabriel Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Juninho Godoi made a precise shot to the right of Alexsandro Passos. Berilo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Raphael Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guayra's supporters rose to their feet, but Raphael Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexsandro Passos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 98thth minute of the game Amílton Arruda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guayra's Osmar Mazza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Guayra had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
