In the 9th minute Nicolas Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Gabriel Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 10 minutes, Hernani Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rulizovisk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernani Mattos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute, Aloísio Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiago Gabriel Gerber didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hernani Mattos went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Hernani Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rulizovisk's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernani Mattos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Gabriel Gerber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eriberto Maciel's late challenge caught a Rulizovisk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eriberto Maciel helped the player get up and apologised. Eriberto Maciel hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Hernani Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Rulizovisk booed when San Pauli FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Nicolas Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th match minute, San Pauli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Percy Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. Ricardinho Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 45 minutes, Hernani Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rulizovisk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hernani Mattos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hernani Mattos made a kick off. Tiago Gabriel Gerber stood somewhat misplaced when Hernani Mattos came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 54 minute. When Ricardinho Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rulizovisk's protests and gave Ricardinho Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. Ricardinho Queirós hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Rulizovisk's Nicolas Sousa got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 61 minutes, Zé Roberto Quintal mouthed his way into the referee's book. Hernani Mattos didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-4 via right post in the game's 77th minute. Rulizovisk's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After a rather tough play, Rulizovisk's Cacá Falcão got a free kick in the 84th minute. Tiago Gabriel Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Sousa in the 86th minute of play. Hernani Mattos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Tiago Gabriel Gerber when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Joélson Magalhães hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When Rulizovisk's Hernani Mattos in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Pauli FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match was over Rulizovisk could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than San Pauli FC throughout the match.
