Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valdir Toscano started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Araqua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Maciel came free, but Osvaldinho Cosme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of San Pauli FC booed when Araqua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexsandro Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eriberto Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldinho Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eriberto Maciel came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the San Pauli FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eriberto Maciel couldn't finish the play. Osvaldinho Cosme came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by San Pauli FC's Eriberto Maciel. But to his dismay, Eriberto Maciel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Osvaldinho Cosme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André de Sousa's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Josué Viana in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tiago Gabriel Gerber, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Maciel in the 37th minute of play forced Araqua FC's goalkeeper Osvaldinho Cosme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Zeca Leme sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiago Gabriel Gerber skillfully saved the ball. In the 42nd minute, André de Sousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eriberto Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Osvaldinho Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Tiago Gabriel Gerber came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Araqua FC's Valdir Toscano. But to his dismay, Valdir Toscano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 57 minutes into the match, Araqua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Mota came free, but Osvaldinho Cosme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, San Pauli FC's Osvaldinho Cosme threw himself towards the right post 59 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eriberto Maciel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. André de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Osvaldinho Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvaldinho Cosme made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when André de Sousa sent off a good shot on target. Breno Torres hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Valdir Toscano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 minutes, Abel Catarinense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Araqua FC and the San Pauli FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abel Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Osvaldinho Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when André de Sousa got free with Osvaldinho Cosme in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 81 minutes, Valdir Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araqua FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdir Toscano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André de Sousa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Osvaldinho Cosme made a huge save. Igor Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Dalmo Bastos, 89 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Valdir Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eriberto Maciel in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldinho Cosme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. André de Sousa was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 98th minute. San Pauli FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
