Jeremias Sabóia came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Multiforça's Gilmar Teles. But to his dismay, Gilmar Teles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Vicente Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Gilmar Teles could shoot a difficult shot in the 20th minute, which Jeremias Sabóia however easily saved by the left post. Pedro Luís Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Vicente Simão struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Gonçalo de Sena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube de Regatas Flamengo. In the 26th minute, Vânderson de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilmar Teles scored 3-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremias Sabóia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Multiforça's zone, Claudinei Chaves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonçalo de Sena came out of the goal and Claudinei Chaves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vicente Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gonçalo de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enéas da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Vânderson de Moraes put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jeremias Sabóia. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vicente Simão made a kick off. After 56 played minutes Clube de Regatas Flamengo got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Chaves. Jeremias Sabóia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vânderson de Moraes's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Jeremias Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Loyola in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Vânderson de Moraes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremias Sabóia. Clube de Regatas Flamengo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vânderson de Moraes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 68th minute, Vicente Simão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute Vânderson de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th match minute, Multiforça was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Paulo Carioca to maneuver through the defense. Enéas da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Gonçalo de Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
