After a rather tough play, VSKG Esporte Clube's Afonso Leão got a free kick in the 51st minute. During the 54th minute of the match Afonso Leão completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Afonso Leão a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
