Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jaraguá FC's Adriano Toledo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Jorginho Martins fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trombucas's protests and gave Jorginho Martins a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, one of Trombucas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Trombucas. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Jaraguá FC. Gil Godoi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wesley Quirino. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duda Teles in the 19th minute of play forced Trombucas's goalkeeper Wesley Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Iuri Prado came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Trombucas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iuri Prado couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute of the match, Anderson Fernandez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Breno Fernandez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Umberto Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Jaraguá FC were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Umberto Branco made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaraguá FC's Adriano Toledo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wesley Quirino. That made the score 2-5 after 53 minutes of play. In the 74thth minute of the game Josué Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jaraguá FC's Breno Fernandez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Jaraguá FC's Duda Teles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wesley Quirino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-6. Breno Fernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iuri Prado's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Jaraguá FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trombucas the free kick. Iuri Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Breno Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Jaraguá FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Pereira to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute Iuri Prado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Trombucas manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Jaraguá FC to win.
