The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, João Paulo Leite ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedrão Abraão was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With a little luck, Estremo SS's Pedrão Abraão got control of the ball when João Paulo Leite tried to sneak it across the goal line. Estremo SS's Pedrão Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho da Mata in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Patrick Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severino Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Chaves in the 22nd minute of the match. Wanderson Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Paulo Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrão Abraão having to interfere. Pedrão Abraão was a little too slow when Pedrinho da Mata got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-0. Pedrinho da Mata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedrão Abraão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. If Pedrinho da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, João Paulo Leite ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedrão Abraão was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Pedrão Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho da Mata in the 49th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 54th minute aGalope! were awarded a corner. Valdemar Goiano went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to aGalope!'s Tomé Martins getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. João Paulo Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Pedrão Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedrão Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Paulo Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 67th minute Pedrinho da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrão Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wanderson Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. João Paulo Leite might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedrão Abraão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Estremo SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedrinho da Mata was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 97 minutes into the match, Dieguinho Lago had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severino Cardoso. aGalope!'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dieguinho Lago was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Estremo SS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for aGalope!.
