Spectators: 7234 (Terracing: 5427, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cauan Gomes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Faustão Messias came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Parangaba FC's Fabinho Cearense. But to his dismay, Fabinho Cearense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 6th minute Fabinho Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustão Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes, Cauan Gomes made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Cacau SS's Faustão Messias tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the game, Parangaba FC's Cauan Gomes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faustão Messias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When Parangaba FC's Fabinho Cearense in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cacau SS's goalie prevented a goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Hudson do Valle put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Parangaba FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 27 minutes, Cacau SS's Váldson Borges got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tanner Kaiser. Parangaba FC's Cauan Gomes got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cacau SS's zone, Fabinho Cearense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustão Messias came out of the goal and Fabinho Cearense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Cacau SS defense, Fabinho Cearense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faustão Messias. The Cacau SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustão Messias should have stopped the shot. Parangaba FC's Cesinha Barral suffered a sore foot after 47 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 47 minutes, Hugo Paraense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cacau SS and the Parangaba FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Parangaba FC made a substitution. Serafim Brasil replaced Cesinha Barral. Hugo Paraense hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. Faustão Messias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauan Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Parangaba FC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Paraense was the one to do the kick off. If Fabinho Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Parangaba FC's Diego de Alcântara quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Toninho Pernambucano, made in the 60th minute of the game. A hard shot 61 in the game by Cauan Gomes from a close distance when the talented Faustão Messias managed to make a qualified save. Cacau SS's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Paraense in the 66th minute of play forced Parangaba FC's goalkeeper Tanner Kaiser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72ndth minute of the game Fabinho Cearense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cacau SS's Faustão Messias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Cauan Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Cauan Gomes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Faustão Messias. Cauan Gomes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. When Cauan Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Parangaba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauan Gomes couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Fabinho Cearense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabinho Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
