Serginho Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto da Costa in the 10th minute of the match. David Garcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Antunes in the 14th minute of play forced Barcelona Fut e Cachaça's goalkeeper David Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Garcia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudinei Antunes's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Luís Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Matorin having to interfere. Claudinei Antunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Barcelona Fut e Cachaça's Paulo José Neves got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the game, Claudinei Antunes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of David Garcia. Claudinei Antunes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. A collision led to Classis Spes getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Frédson Medeiros hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the game, Orlando Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barcelona Fut e Cachaça's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Classis Spes the free kick. Orlando Santos hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Ernesto Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Claudinei Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th of the match, Claudinei Antunes tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but David Garcia got in the way and made a wonderful save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudinei Antunes to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto Pernambucano in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Garcia saved Barcelona Fut e Cachaça from getting behind. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ernesto Pernambucano sped through Barcelona Fut e Cachaça's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of David Garcia. After 59 minutes, Rui Antunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Classis Spes and the Barcelona Fut e Cachaça players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th match minute, Classis Spes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Antunes to maneuver through the defense. David Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Pernambucano in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of Classis Spes booed when Barcelona Fut e Cachaça was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Barcelona Fut e Cachaça's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Antunes came free, but David Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Claudinei Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barcelona Fut e Cachaça's David Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Antunes in the 79th minute of play. Ernesto Pernambucano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. David Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Netto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudinei Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Classis Spes had won after a very even match.
