Henrique Salles took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arí de Amorim. CITYCAR FC CLUB's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcelo Carneiro succeeded in the game's 7th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Şükrü Yenbu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Elivélton Cabral skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Valdomiro Soeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valdomiro Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivélton Cabral having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CITYCAR FC CLUB's zone, Marcelo Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arí de Amorim came out of the goal and Marcelo Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramiro Teixeira charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Teixeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, CITYCAR FC CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. Şükrü Yenbu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Elivélton Cabral made a huge save. Valdomiro Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivélton Cabral having to interfere. Elivélton Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. CITYCAR FC CLUB's Arí de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrézinho Borges in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrézinho Borges to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Carneiro got free with Arí de Amorim in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elivélton Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elivélton Cabral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro Soeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Şükrü Yenbu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CITYCAR FC CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şükrü Yenbu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henrique Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Elivélton Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdomiro Soeiro in the 65th minute of play. Marcelo Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Caveiras FC's Andrézinho Borges in the 76th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Arí de Amorim was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for CITYCAR FC CLUB through an amazing save. Caveiras FC's Elivélton Cabral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdomiro Soeiro in the 78th minute of play. Elivélton Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Leite in the 83rd minute of play. Betão Barral's late challenge caught a Caveiras FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Betão Barral helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CITYCAR FC CLUB getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Betão Barral hit a great ball. Marcelo Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Arí de Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caveiras FC. If Marcelo Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Caveiras FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
