In the 13th minute of the match Clemente Ortiz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Eduardo da Fonseca skillfully saved the ball. Giuseppe Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Eduardo da Fonseca having to interfere. João Peres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Luís Antunes made a huge save. Goyandira's Luís Antunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Goyandira from getting a goal against them. Luís Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Correia in the 26th minute of play. Luís Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Correia in the 27th minute of the match. João Paulo de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 43rd minute Vitório Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Vitório Neves reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luís Antunes. The goal made the score 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vitório Neves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Mão chester City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acácio Martins to maneuver through the defense. Goyandira's Luís Antunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vitório Neves in the 56th minute of play. João Paulo de Senna's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Carlos Eduardo da Fonseca skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vitório Neves took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Antunes. Luís Antunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 69 minutes of play, Mão chester City's Gilson Montenegro made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Antunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 73 minutes into the match, Acácio Martins notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Goyandira's Luís Antunes. Luís Antunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Mão chester City booed when Goyandira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabinho Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Vitório Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mão chester City's supporters rose to their feet, but Vitório Neves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luís Antunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilson Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the match, Vitório Neves notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Goyandira's Luís Antunes. Luís Antunes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luís Antunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilson Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
