Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Falcão do Vale took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, PraçaUnited's Ricardo Mendonça got a free kick in the 5th minute. A hard shot by Juvenal Cardozo from long distance, 7 minutes into the match, got Olívio Sergipano's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Videu's goalkeeper Aníbal Leão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Luís Fernando Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgílio Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Aníbal Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olívio Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elder Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes, Adhemar Montenegro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PraçaUnited and the Videu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, PraçaUnited's Adhemar Montenegro got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 37 minutes of play, Videu's Carlos Alberto Velloso made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olívio Sergipano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Romeu Coutinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Falcão do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Olívio Sergipano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romeu Coutinho's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Romeu Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Olívio Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Videu's Aníbal Leão got control of the ball when Virgílio Brodel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Virgílio Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aníbal Leão having to interfere. Falcão do Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aníbal Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. After 91 minutes, Ricardo Mendonça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PraçaUnited and the Videu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ricardo Mendonça hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Juvenal Cardozo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 92nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 97th minute Elder Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elder Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Sergipano having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Videu had won after a very even match.
