The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Percival de Lima during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, s.c. resenha e.c's Percival de Lima got a free kick in the 3rd minute. s.c. resenha e.c's Kiko Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Meira in the 12th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Wesley Valle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. s.c. resenha e.c's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maracai F.C the free kick. After 22 played minutes s.c. resenha e.c got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Valle. If Otávio Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils Elssen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Valle in the 30th minute of play. Eurico Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Kiko Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eurico Meira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 35th minute. Maracai F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Maracai F.C's Jailson Romero got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, s.c. resenha e.c's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Meira came free, but Kiko Hermes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elder de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Hermes having to interfere. Jailson Romero struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Kiko Hermes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maracai F.C. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Wesley Valle made the kick off in the second half. The Maracai F.C fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Maracai F.C's Eurico Meira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Otávio Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 63 minutes into the game, Eurico Meira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Kiko Hermes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nils Elssen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Wesley Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Wesley Valle got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 79 played minutes s.c. resenha e.c got a freekick which was hit by Wesley Valle. The supporters of s.c. resenha e.c booed when Maracai F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delfim Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otávio Peixoto struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Kiko Hermes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maracai F.C. Eurico Meira succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. When the referee ended the match the Maracai F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
