Spectators: 7175 (Terracing: 5383, Seating: 1650, VIP seats: 142) Alexandrita SS's Claudinei da Silveira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Reinaldo Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Alexandrita SS booed when World Strong Litoral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Sandro de Castro in the 6th minute really tested Cafu Corrêa's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Sérgio Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Yan Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Cafu Corrêa managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Alexandrita SS's Claudinei da Silveira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 34 minutes, Dorian Dracena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the World Strong Litoral and the Alexandrita SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dorian Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Yan Santos came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by World Strong Litoral's Reinaldo Paraíba. But to his dismay, Reinaldo Paraíba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Yan Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reinaldo Paraíba to strike the kick off in the second half. Reinaldo Paraíba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yan Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Yan Santos made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Sérgio Luz sent off a good shot on target. If Sérgio Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Claudinei da Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Alexandrita SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei da Silveira couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Alexandrita SS booed when World Strong Litoral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorian Dracena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes Alexandrita SS got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Saraiva. It was beautiful to see World Strong Litoral's Nestor Mendes in action when he in the 69th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 72nd minute, Reinaldo Paraíba fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Yan Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Paraíba in the 74th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandro de Castro during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Alexandrita SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro de Castro to maneuver through the defense. After 87 minutes of play, Alexandrita SS's Claudinei da Silveira made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cafu Corrêa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute, Reinaldo Paraíba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yan Santos. The goal made the score 3-3. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the World Strong Litoral players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
