In the 6th minute, Almir Pires left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dattas SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Sérgio Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the game, Fernandão Cardoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dattas SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave World Strong Litoral the free kick. After 15 played minutes Dattas SS got a freekick which was hit by Fernandão Cardoso. A hard shot by Nestor Mendes from long distance, 16 minutes into the match, got Victor Magalhães's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Almir Pires took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cafu Corrêa. Cafu Corrêa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Victor Magalhães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sérgio Luz in the 24th minute. Carlos Eduardo de Lara hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Victor Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Paraíba in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match, Reinaldo Paraíba tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Victor Magalhães saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The crowd rose to their feet as World Strong Litoral's Reinaldo Paraíba slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victor Magalhães. That made the score 1-2 after 36 minutes of play. Dattas SS's Fernandão Cardoso got his second yellow card of the match in the 41st minute. The referee ordered Fernandão Cardoso off the ground. In the 42nd match minute, Dattas SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandão Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute World Strong Litoral were awarded a corner. Nestor Mendes went to the cornerflag to take it. Sérgio Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Sérgio Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Victor Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Dattas SS got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Silveira. The audience was convinced that Reinaldo Paraíba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Magalhães was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 61st minute, Sandro Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Sérgio Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reinaldo Paraíba struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Victor Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for World Strong Litoral. The audience was convinced that Sérgio Luz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victor Magalhães was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 76th minute Reinaldo Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in World Strong Litoral's zone, Almir Pires stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cafu Corrêa came out of the goal and Almir Pires tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Almir Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Corrêa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Dattas SS's Natã Matorin got a free kick in the 84th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Almir Pires notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of World Strong Litoral's Cafu Corrêa. Cafu Corrêa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Dattas SS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
