After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Nilton Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estocomo FC's Ramiro Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Lima in the 38th minute of play. Ramiro Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Warren Metzger in the 39th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Malvadão AC's zone, Nilton Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredão Arruda came out of the goal and Nilton Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nilton Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Arruda having to interfere. Warren Metzger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Rocha having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ramiro Rocha came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Malvadão AC's Leonardo Lima. But to his dismay, Leonardo Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Warren Metzger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ramiro Rocha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd minute, Leonardo Lima made a precise shot to the right of Ramiro Rocha. Estocomo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Martin Maxwell's late challenge caught a Estocomo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Maxwell helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes Malvadão AC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Maxwell. Reinaldo Botelho made in the 83rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Frédson Maciel immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, Estocomo FC's Luís Fernando Tande got a free kick in the 84th minute. A hard and well directed shot from Martin Maxwell led 85 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Estocomo FC's Ramiro Rocha became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nilton Fernandez during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute, Nilton Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiro Rocha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adriano Leme in the 93rd minute. Estocomo FC's Ramiro Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Warren Metzger in the 95th minute of play. Alfredão Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilton Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the match was over Malvadão AC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Estocomo FC throughout the match.
