Spectators: 7235 (Terracing: 5428, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) Dattas SS's Sandro Silveira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Conrado Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wesley Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th match minute, Dattas SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. s.c. resenha e.c were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Dattas SS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sérgio Soares took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Percival de Lima to score against Victor Magalhães in Dattas SS's goal. 1-0 after 8 minutes. When Maurício Netto came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the s.c. resenha e.c fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurício Netto couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Dattas SS getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. José Augusto Saraiva hit a great ball. Victor Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Valle in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17thth minute of the game Wesley Valle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dattas SS's Victor Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sandro Silveira struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Kiko Hermes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dattas SS. Almir Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Hermes having to interfere. Sandro Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Silveira in the 26th minute of play forced s.c. resenha e.c's goalkeeper Kiko Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Almir Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Kiko Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Dattas SS's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Valle came free, but Victor Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Dattas SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wesley Valle fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Kiko Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Almir Pires in the 39th minute of the match. Kiko Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Sandro Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dattas SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandro Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kiko Hermes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Almir Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Wesley Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Maurício Netto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurício Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Dattas SS booed when s.c. resenha e.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Almir Pires took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kiko Hermes. Kiko Hermes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to Dattas SS getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. José Augusto Saraiva hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Wesley Valle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Magalhães was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Maurício Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Magalhães having to interfere. After some careless play in the Dattas SS defense, Maurício Netto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Magalhães. The Dattas SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Magalhães should have stopped the shot. Sandro Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Hermes having to interfere. Almir Pires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Kiko Hermes made a huge save. After 83 played minutes s.c. resenha e.c got a freekick which was hit by Cícero Carioca. Sandro Silveira charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandro Silveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sandro Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The s.c. resenha e.c fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when s.c. resenha e.c's Wesley Valle looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of s.c. resenha e.c booed when Dattas SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandão Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Sérgio Soares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Magalhães skillfully saved the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The s.c. resenha e.c fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dattas SS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
