Malvadão AC were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Pisa Fofo Esporte Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Martin Maxwell took the corner. The corner ended in Martin Maxwell almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pisa Fofo Esporte Clube's Luís Guilherme Botelho did a great save. In the 22nd minute, Leonardo Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mário de Senna during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Pisa Fofo Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Mário de Senna. Luís Guilherme Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Lima in the 24th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Warren Metzger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After having played for 30 minutes, Leonardo Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malvadão AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute Warren Metzger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Guilherme Botelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Pisa Fofo Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Warren Metzger came free, but Luís Guilherme Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriano Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Guilherme Botelho having to interfere. Leonardo Lima scored 0-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luís Guilherme Botelho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Durvalino de Queirós was the one to do the kick off. Pisa Fofo Esporte Clube's Jairo Loyola got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Warren Metzger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Leonardo Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Guilherme Botelho. Pisa Fofo Esporte Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Luís Guilherme Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Warren Metzger in the 90th minute of the match. Leonardo Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Warren Metzger fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 94th minute, Leonardo Lima got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pisa Fofo Esporte Clube's Luís Guilherme Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Warren Metzger in the 96th minute of play. Malvadão AC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
