Nilton Fernandez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, Estocomo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilton Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. Diamantino Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Eurico Meira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Estocomo FC's Ramiro Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Estocomo FC from getting a goal against them. Jorginho Carvalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Maracai F.C booed when Estocomo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Munhoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estocomo FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eurico Meira 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Eurico Meira made the kick off in the second half. Nils Elssen came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Estocomo FC's Nilton Fernandez. But to his dismay, Nilton Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a little luck, Maracai F.C's Nils Elssen got control of the ball when Diamantino Bastos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nilton Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Nils Elssen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramiro Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinaldo Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Maracai F.C's Nils Elssen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton Fernandez in the 79th minute of play. Nilton Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 88 minutes, Charles Paraíba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maracai F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Paraíba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
