In the 17th minute Claudinei da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianinho Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrianinho Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei da Silveira in the 18th minute of the match. Tupancireta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luizão Ramos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th match minute, Alexandrita SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro de Castro to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when André Luiz Magalhães got free with Yan Santos in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luizão Ramos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Tupancireta's Luizão Ramos got a free kick in the 52nd minute. When André Luís Moura came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Tupancireta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Luís Moura couldn't finish the play. Luizão Ramos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alexandrita SS's Yan Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luiz Magalhães in the 66th minute of play. Adrianinho Branco was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Claudinei da Silveira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Claudinei da Silveira really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. When André Luís Moura came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Tupancireta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Luís Moura couldn't finish the play. Luizão Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Yan Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandrita SS's Yan Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luiz Magalhães in the 84th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Ulysses Luz could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Adrianinho Branco however easily saved by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luizão Ramos in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yan Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Alexandrita SS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tupancireta.
