An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernani Bastos in the 3rd minute of play forced R.R.A. F.C.'s goalkeeper Víktor Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, R.R.A. F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Osmar Albuquerque came free, but Víktor Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Hernani Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víktor Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Víktor Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernani Bastos in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, R.R.A. F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hernani Bastos came free, but Víktor Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernani Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Víktor Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Hernani Bastos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Víktor Godoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 30 minutes in the game, Murilo Pena fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Narciso Matos having to interfere. Víktor Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernani Bastos in the 33rd minute of play. After 39 played minutes R.R.A. F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Doni Arruda. Amauri Dracena took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Víktor Godoi. R.R.A. F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernani Bastos in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Víktor Godoi saved R.R.A. F.C. from getting behind. Murilo Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Murilo Pena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Geraldo Favoretto came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the R.R.A. F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geraldo Favoretto couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute Hernani Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víktor Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute of the match, Manuel Tepedino tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Víktor Godoi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. R.R.A. F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hernani Bastos 70 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. Osmar Albuquerque succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 77th playminute. After a rather tough play, R.R.A. F.C.'s Willian Moura got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Caio Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murilo Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Matos having to interfere. R.R.A. F.C.'s Víktor Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani Bastos in the 94th minute of play. The supporters of Fumaquim FC booed when R.R.A. F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betão de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the match, R.R.A. F.C.'s goalkeeper Víktor Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osmar Albuquerque. Fumaquim FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over R.R.A. F.C.'s much stronger midfield.
