After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Oscar Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chameleon's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Cosme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Salgado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 9 minutes, Miguel Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chameleon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Salgado having to interfere. Júlio Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Ronaldo Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Bernardo Valadares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pacova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernardo Valadares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 19th minute Oscar Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute Miguel Santos suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 22 minutes, Matheus da Cunha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pacova and the Chameleon players grew even worse after the yellow card. Matheus da Cunha hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Miguel Arantes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Umberto Tavares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 39th play minutes Miguel Arantes shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Umberto Tavares and just under the crossbar into goal. Anselmo Mendonça charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Mendonça the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes Pacova got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Mendonça. In the 47th minute Glauco Leite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Valadares to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Chameleon got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Sá. Tião de Queirós hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Umberto Tavares made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Miguel Arantes sent off a good shot on target. Miguel Arantes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Umberto Tavares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After 72 played minutes Chameleon got a freekick which was hit by Willian Sarmento. In the 79th minute Bernardo Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Bernardo Valadares fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Umberto Tavares, passed just outside the right post. 82 minutes into the game, Pacova's Miguel Arantes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Umberto Tavares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Chameleon's Willian Sarmento got a free kick in the 86th minute. The long shot by Matheus da Cunha in the 87th minute really tested Umberto Tavares's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Bernardo Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Umberto Tavares having to interfere. Anselmo Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Pacova left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chameleon.
