In the 4thth minute of the game Hudson Zanette who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baluarte FC's Váldson Terra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Wilson Matos came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Baluarte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilson Matos couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the match, Cervejeiro Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Fernandão Goiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilson Matos. Carlos Alberto Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Fernandão Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cervejeiro Futebol Clube's Fernandão Goiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Cervejeiro Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. Hudson Zanette sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilson Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandão Goiano having to interfere. In the 35thth minute of the game Tales Neves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baluarte FC's Váldson Terra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernandão Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Matos in the 38th minute of the match. Tales Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Váldson Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Wilson Matos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Carlos Alberto Cardoso sped through Cervejeiro Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fernandão Goiano. Carlos Alberto Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Fernandão Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hudson Zanette to strike the kick off in the second half. Baluarte FC's attack was well implemented in the 52nd minute, but when Carlos Alberto Cardoso was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Wilson Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Fernandão Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Carlos Alberto Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 64 minutes, Wilson Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baluarte FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilson Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernandão Goiano came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Baluarte FC's Carlos Alberto Cardoso. But to his dismay, Carlos Alberto Cardoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cervejeiro Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Fernandão Goiano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Alberto Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Fernandão Goiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Wilson Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baluarte FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilson Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baluarte FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
