Perivaldo Pombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Nego Beiço F.C's goalkeeper Waldir Novaes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Tande. Gernando Fontes scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldir Novaes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredo Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 刘星锋 took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Perivaldo Pombal. Perivaldo Pombal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Albertinho Mattos kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Nego Beiço F.C's goalkeeper Waldir Novaes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Tande. Perivaldo Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Correia in the 35th minute of the match. Tiago Gabriel Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Tiago Gabriel Mattos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perivaldo Pombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Leandro Correia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Perivaldo Pombal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Tiago Gabriel Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Perivaldo Pombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Gernando Fontes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lauro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nego Beiço F.C the free kick. In the 46th minute, Gernando Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

If Leandro Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the game, Lauro's Alfredo Tande nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waldir Novaes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Tiago Gabriel Mattos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Perivaldo Pombal made a huge save. After 59 played minutes Lauro got a freekick which was hit by Geovânio Esteves. In the 61st minute Alfredo Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldir Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Leandro Correia came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Nego Beiço F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Correia couldn't finish the play. If Alfredo Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Gernando Fontes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldir Novaes. Nego Beiço F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gernando Fontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. In the 72nd minute of the match Dé Fonseca shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Waldir Novaes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Nego Beiço F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Luz came free, but Waldir Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perivaldo Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Mattos in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Leandro Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If 刘星锋 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Barral during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Nego Beiço F.C booed when Lauro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perivaldo Pombal having to interfere. Nego Beiço F.C's Waldir Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serginho Novaes in the 92nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuno Luz in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldir Novaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute Leandro Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perivaldo Pombal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lauro fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nego Beiço F.C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
