After having played for 9 minutes, Dé dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nascente SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dé dos Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Hernani Bastos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fumaquim FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nascente SS the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fumaquim FC's Hernani Bastos got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Narciso Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredão Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Fumaquim FC's Manuel Tepedino got a free kick in the 25th minute. Osmar Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nascente SS's Gualter Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernani Bastos in the 44th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Osmar Albuquerque fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Gualter Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernani Bastos in the 53rd minute of the match. Hernani Bastos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Fumaquim FC's Osmar Albuquerque sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gualter Arce narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Osmar Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter Arce having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Dé dos Santos made a precise shot to the right of Narciso Matos. Fumaquim FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Osmar Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter Arce having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Caio Campidelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Alfredão Lucas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Narciso Matos was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Alfredão Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Narciso Matos managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when Nascente SS's Dé dos Santos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alfredão Lucas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Narciso Matos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Gualter Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernani Bastos in the 96th minute of the match. The Nascente SS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
