Víktor Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredão Lucas in the 6th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Nascente SS got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Lucas. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredão Lucas in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Víktor Godoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Víktor Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredão Lucas in the 13th minute of play. Geraldo Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Gualter Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Geraldo Favoretto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gualter Arce. Nascente SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geraldo Favoretto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 36th minute of the match Iuri Severo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Víktor Godoi skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredão Lucas in the 40th minute of play forced R.R.A. F.C.'s goalkeeper Víktor Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute Alfredão Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víktor Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Alfredão Lucas made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Doni Arruda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the R.R.A. F.C. and the Nascente SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, R.R.A. F.C.'s Doni Arruda got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Nascente SS's Alfredão Lucas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Víktor Godoi. Víktor Godoi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Geraldo Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Gualter Arce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nascente SS's Dé dos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Alfredão Lucas took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Víktor Godoi to make any attempt to save it. When Gonçalo Palmeira fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nascente SS's protests and gave Gonçalo Palmeira a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes Nascente SS got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Palmeira. In the 70th minute Alfredão Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Víktor Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. R.R.A. F.C.'s Víktor Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredão Lucas in the 75th minute of play. If Alfredão Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Augusto Vergílio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 83 minutes into the match. Iuri Severo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 89 minutes into the match, R.R.A. F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Palmeira came free, but Víktor Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, R.R.A. F.C.'s Betão de Lara got a free kick in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the match, Alfredão Lucas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Víktor Godoi, 1-3. The Nascente SS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nascente SS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
