Narciso Matos was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Hudson Zanette capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hudson Zanette really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, Cervejeiro Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Hernani Bastos came free, but Fernandão Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Hudson Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osmar Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osmar Albuquerque might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernandão Goiano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Osmar Albuquerque ran back to his position shaking his head. Manuel Tepedino struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Fernandão Goiano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fumaquim FC. In the 101st minute Hernani Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandão Goiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fumaquim FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Cervejeiro Futebol Clube had won, even though Fumaquim FC had held more of the ball.
