Spectators: 7235 (Terracing: 5428, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sandro Valle made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Carioca's Betão Severo got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 6th minute of the match João Paulo dos Santos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clóvis Paes skillfully saved the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Marcelo Seco notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ૨ε∂-ɓµℓℓƒαℓσร's Clóvis Paes. Clóvis Paes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carioca's Franklin Santana got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celsinho Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clóvis Paes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Celsinho Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 15 minutes, Betão Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carioca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Betão Severo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Franklin Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celsinho Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clóvis Paes having to interfere. Clóvis Paes came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Carioca's Celsinho Sousa. But to his dismay, Celsinho Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Clóvis Paes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celsinho Sousa in the 35th minute of play. Carioca's Franklin Santana got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celsinho Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clóvis Paes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celsinho Sousa's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Celsinho Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When Carlos Augusto Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ૨ε∂-ɓµℓℓƒαℓσร's protests and gave Carlos Augusto Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. Franklin Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celsinho Sousa had several of the ૨ε∂-ɓµℓℓƒαℓσร's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 63 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Clóvis Paes as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cauã Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandro Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 played minutes Carioca got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Fernandez. Celsinho Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clóvis Paes having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, ૨ε∂-ɓµℓℓƒαℓσร's goal looked a bit too open when Celsinho Sousa came free, but Clóvis Paes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franklin Santana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celsinho Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clóvis Paes having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Marcelo Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandro Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celsinho Sousa got free with Clóvis Paes in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carioca's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
