Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mário Tinoco kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Noel Peres in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Deivid Couto saved Palestra Itália from getting behind. Durvalino Lopez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Noel Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charles Bittencourt scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Deivid Couto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Geovani Mangueira fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Travessos FC's protests and gave Geovani Mangueira a yellow card for diving instead. Noel Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Deivid Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Bittencourt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Deivid Couto made a huge save. After having played for 21 minutes, Noel Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Travessos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel Peres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Charles Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Palestra Itália defense, Charles Bittencourt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Deivid Couto. The Palestra Itália fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Deivid Couto should have stopped the shot. Mário Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Durvalino Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noel Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vito Ortiz during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vito Ortiz hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Noel Peres made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Juvenal Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palestra Itália's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juvenal Prata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Charles Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles Bittencourt struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Deivid Couto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Travessos FC. In the 61st minute, José Paulo Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noel Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Deivid Couto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Noel Peres went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Palestra Itália's zone, Charles Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Deivid Couto came out of the goal and Charles Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Travessos FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Geovani Mangueira hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, Raí da Mata sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Travessos FC's Durvalino Lopez didn't even have to move. Deivid Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The supporters of Travessos FC booed when Palestra Itália was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emílio Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Noel Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deivid Couto having to interfere. Josué Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Travessos FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
