Murillo França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Matos having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Franca SC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luiz Vianna came free, but Percy Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murillo França recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adilson de Toledo charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adilson de Toledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adilson de Toledo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Murillo França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Matos having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Travassos made a kick off. Percy Matos was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Murillo França capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Murillo França really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Percy Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murillo França, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Pedro Luiz Vianna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Percy Matos having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Murillo França managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seleção Sucesso's supporters rose to their feet, but Murillo França was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Percy Matos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Pedro Luiz Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. When the final whistle sounded Seleção Sucesso left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Franca SC.
