But to his dismay, Rony Quintal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Raúl Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rony Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Belmonte's goalkeeper Raúl Queiroz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Ramalho in the 27th minute of play forced Porcos SC's goalkeeper Walmyr Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Porcos SC's Amauri Mandrak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raúl Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 1-4 became the score in the 33rd minute when Rony Quintal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Victor Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Amauri Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rony Quintal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raúl Queiroz having to interfere. If Rony Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The wind increased when Rony Quintal made the kick off in the second half. Rony Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. In the 60th minute of the match Luiz Gustavo Neves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Walmyr Proença skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Rony Quintal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raúl Queiroz was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. The supporters of Porcos SC booed when Belmonte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amauri Mandrak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raúl Queiroz having to make a save. Raúl Queiroz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rony Quintal's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Walmyr Proença took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Váldson Tepedino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Porcos SC's Rony Quintal in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belmonte's goalie prevented a goal. After 91 played minutes Belmonte got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Ramalho. If Amauri Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Porcos SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Belmonte throughout the match.
