Reynaldo Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Luiz Vianna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Leão having to interfere. If Murillo França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th match minute, SantasticoJovemFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidnei Gomes to maneuver through the defense. After 19 played minutes Eliézer do Nascimento shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for SantasticoJovemFC's Reynaldo Leão to catch but Eliézer do Nascimento was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. 22 minutes into the game, Murillo França cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Reynaldo Leão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 26 minutes into the match, SantasticoJovemFC's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo França came free, but Reynaldo Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28thth minute of the game Murillo França who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SantasticoJovemFC's Reynaldo Leão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murillo França in the 29th minute of play forced SantasticoJovemFC's goalkeeper Reynaldo Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murillo França recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Murillo França sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bebeto Domingues might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Acácio Lucas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bebeto Domingues ran back to his position shaking his head. The SantasticoJovemFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Seleção Sucesso were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bebeto Domingues to make the kick off. When Murillo França came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Seleção Sucesso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murillo França couldn't finish the play. Pedro Luiz Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SantasticoJovemFC's Reynaldo Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save SantasticoJovemFC from getting a goal against them. If Bebeto Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bebeto Domingues struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Acácio Lucas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Seleção Sucesso had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
