Spectators: 7012 (Terracing: 5462, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonel Travassos started the match with the kick off. Charles Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Percy Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Travessos FC's Noel Peres got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Charles Bittencourt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Percy Matos was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. If Noel Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 minutes of play, Travessos FC's Noel Peres made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Percy Matos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Noel Peres struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Percy Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Travessos FC. Percy Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Peres in the 24th minute of the match. Percy Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovani Mangueira in the 26th minute of play. Percy Matos came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Travessos FC's Charles Bittencourt. But to his dismay, Charles Bittencourt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Percy Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Peres, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st match minute, Franca SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franklin das Neves to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Noel Peres notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Franca SC's Percy Matos. Percy Matos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Percy Matos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Noel Peres's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. If Noel Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Noel Peres in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Percy Matos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. José Vítor de Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Percy Matos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Noel Peres's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The Franca SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Travessos FC were winning 0-3.

André Luiz Sabóia hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Charles Bittencourt took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Percy Matos. Percy Matos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Durvalino Lopez came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Franca SC's Leonel Travassos. But to his dismay, Leonel Travassos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. If José Vítor de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 74 minutes, José Vítor de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Franca SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Vítor de Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Franca SC's Leonel Travassos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Durvalino Lopez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josué Silveira got free with Percy Matos in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the match, Travessos FC's Noel Peres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Percy Matos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Noel Peres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Percy Matos was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 1-6 when Noel Peres sped through Franca SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Percy Matos. Travessos FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
