Acácio Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Ceresso in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natanael Perez in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Acácio Lucas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 0-1 became the score in the 18th minute when Nicolas Ceresso elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Natanael Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Seleção Sucesso's Acácio Lucas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Ceresso in the 24th minute of play. Horácio Silva hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Birutas FC's goalkeeper Arlindo Albuquerque had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Luiz Vianna. After having played for 43 minutes, Nicolas Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Birutas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Ceresso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Seleção Sucesso's zone, Nicolas Ceresso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Acácio Lucas came out of the goal and Nicolas Ceresso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Murillo França stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Natanael Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 54 minutes, Nicolas Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Birutas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Ceresso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th match minute, Birutas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael Perez to maneuver through the defense. Jairo Santos's late challenge caught a Seleção Sucesso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jairo Santos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, one of Birutas FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Birutas FC. Birutas FC:s Arlindo Albuquerque showed great skill when he stopped Eliézer do Nascimento:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Seleção Sucesso's Oswaldo Carneiro got a free kick in the 81st minute. Acácio Lucas stood somewhat misplaced when Natanael Perez came free in front of goal and shot 0-2 to the left of him in the 86 minute. Nicolas Ceresso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Acácio Lucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natanael Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acácio Lucas having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Birutas FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Seleção Sucesso.
