But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Ceresso couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael Perez in the 29th minute of play forced Dx team's goalkeeper Natanael Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Natanael Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Natanael Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elivélton Alagoano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oscar Pernambucano struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Natanael Arósio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Birutas FC. After 54 minutes of play, Birutas FC's Nicolas Ceresso made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Natanael Arósio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Birutas FC booed when Dx team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Bueno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natanael Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natanael Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Vítor Pernambucano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arlindo Albuquerque read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Nicolas Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birutas FC's Nicolas Ceresso got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Bueno hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Samuel Trancoso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Natanael Arósio. Dx team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Nicolas Ceresso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robinho Leite hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Birutas FC had played much better football throughout.
