Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 110) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Samuca Paranaense started the match with the kick off. In the 5th match minute, Araranguá EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Prata to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Samuca Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kaue Gomes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuca Paranaense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cafu de Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Samuca Paranaense came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Kaue Gomes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuca Paranaense couldn't finish the play. Araranguá EC's Anselmo Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lauro Carneiro in the 23rd minute of play forced Araranguá EC's goalkeeper Cafu de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuca Paranaense scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cafu de Queiroz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Samuca Paranaense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu de Queiroz having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Oscar Prata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 36 minutes, Tomás Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araranguá EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Paulo Pernambucano kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Kaue Gomes FC's Samuca Paranaense got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Araranguá EC's Cafu de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca Paranaense in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute of the match Kaue Gomes FC got a corner. Araranguá EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ronaldão de Castro ran over to the corner to take the kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anselmo Moreira made a kick off. Araranguá EC's Cafu de Queiroz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Araranguá EC from getting a goal against them. If Anselmo Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Kaue Gomes FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Marcelinho Valadares hit a great ball. In the 64th match minute, Araranguá EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Délio Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th match minute, Kaue Gomes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor Ramalho to maneuver through the defense. Samuca Paranaense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cafu de Queiroz having to make a save. 75 minutes into the match, Kaue Gomes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Lima came free, but Ruy Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Araranguá EC's Jano de Lima got a free kick in the 91st minute. The audience was convinced that Samuca Paranaense's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cafu de Queiroz was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Silvinho Tasso charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvinho Tasso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes Kaue Gomes FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvinho Tasso. Araranguá EC were awarded a corner in the 100th minute after Kaue Gomes FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elder Brasil took the corner. After taking down the ball on Araranguá EC's corner Oscar Prata fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ruy Passos quite easily take care of the ball. The Araranguá EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kaue Gomes FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
